DFI VC230-AL is a fanless in-vehicle system powered by Intel Atom® E3900 series, featuring reliability, real-time data transmission, and SWap (small, lightweight, and low power consumption) with complete in-vehicle I/O and communication interfaces. It’s the vehicle information hub suitable for mobile telematics applications including fleet management, IoT edge computing, and more.
“Always connected to the Internet” and “precise positioning” plays significant roles in fleet management. To guarantee reliable communication, VC230-AL supports dual SIM cards via Mini PCIe to match different telecom operators to avoid network interruption. Also, the system offers the fastest arrival route via built-in GNSS, providing the accurate position of the vehicle.
DFI MPE-CAN2 CAN Bus Modules as the bridge between vehicle components and information hub, system integration becomes more scalable and compact. With CAN Bus installed, functions such as error detection, sharing information, faster data transmission, and more among ECU (electronic control units), improve driving safety efficiently.
Certificated by E-Mark, VC230-AL guarantees the safety of driving and the environmental protection requirements. The system also complies with the military-grade MIL-STD-810G vibration-proof certification, making it a robust in-vehicle system.
VC230-AL supports a wide range of 9~36V DC power input to protect from overcurrent and overvoltage. To guarantee the in-vehicle experiences, VC230-AL supports Power Ignition to shut down the system correctly and avoid reducing the computer’s performance and lifetime when the engine power cuts off.
